Former Drake student of Japanese, Monsicha Hoonsuwan, published in The Atlantic

Monsicha, Sam, Hoonsuwan (SJMC '11) recently wrote an article for her work at the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting in Washington D.C. which was picked up by the magazine, The Atlantic and was published on their website.

Sam's majors at Drake were Journalism and International Relations, but she also studied Japanese while she was at Drake.  She was one of our motivated students who led Japanese language workshops for families in the Des Moines community in Spring of 2011.  

We're excited for Sam and proud of her achievements!  We look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
