Drake University Department of Theatre Arts will present:  CHICAGO by John Kander & Fred Ebb
January 24-26, 2013 
Studio 55 - Very limited seating

 

Watch for an All Company (actors, technicians, designers, directors and others?) Meeting sometime before the holiday recess.

Schedule (as of 2/20/12): Subject to change

Production work begins January 7th.  A typical schedule would look something like this:

 9am-12pm:               Rehearsal

9am:                           Shops open.  Those working exclusively in the shops need to be report at this time.

12-1pm:                     Lunch Break

1pm:                           Shops re-open.  Actors will be required to assist in the shops during this time.  Actors will typically work a two-hour shift (1-3 or 3-5). 
                                   Students working on the technical aspects of the production need to report back to the shops at this time.


5pm:                           Dinner break

6-10pm:                     Rehearsal

January 21st:             A.M. Cue to Cue (M.L.K. Day)

                                    P.M. Full Technical Rehearsal

January 22nd:            A.M./P.M. Full Technical Rehearsal(s)

January 23rd:             P.M. Technical Rehearsal

 Brush-up rehearsals during tech week are possible.
As of today’s date, there are no scheduled rehearsals on Sunday.  The first two Saturdays (January 12th and 19th) are T.B.D. The faculty reserves the right to change the schedule.

For the first two weeks of the J-term, the shops will be open 9-5.  The schedule for the last week of the semester will be determined at a later date. The January term production may be counted toward your scholarship requirement for the department.
