College of Arts and Sciences: The College houses and staffs the Center for the Humanities and partners with Humanities Faculty in and the Center in programming and support. The Dean of the College serves as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors.

Office of the Provost Faculty and Staff Development: The Provost's office offers a variety of programs supporting research, teaching development, student assistantship, program revision, and the like.

Center for Global Citizenship: The Center for Global Citizenship educates students to function effectively in different cultural contexts, and to see their own culture from the perspective of others. The Center also works to ensure that global perspectives and issues are an integral part of the intellectual and cultural experience of all members of the Drake community.

Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes: Established in 1988, the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes serves as a site for the discussion of issues germane to the fostering of crossdisciplinary activity and as a network for the circulation of information and the sharing of resources within the humanities and interpretive social sciences. CHCI has a membership of over 150 centers and institutes that are remarkably diverse in size and scope and are located in the United States, Australia, Canada, China, Korea, Finland, Taiwan, Ireland, United Kingdom, and other countries.

National Endowment for the Humanities: The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is an independent federal agency created in 1965. It is one of the largest funders of humanities programs in the United States.

Humanities Iowa: Humanities Iowa (HI) is committed to bringing the humanities to the public through grant making, publications, and through interactive programming and events. Founded in 1971, HI is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanitites in Washington D.C.

Grinnell College Center for the Humanities: Founded in 2001, the purpose of the Center is to draw attention to and support superlative research and teaching in the Humanities at Grinnell, to provide Grinnell faculty with an opportunity to be in dialogue with Humanities scholars from around the world, to be an ongoing forum for sustained communication between the Humanities and academic endeavors in Social Sciences and Sciences at Grinnell, and to provide selected students with the opportunity for intensive intellectual collaborations with faculty.

Obermann Center for Advanced Studies at the University of Iowa: The Obermann Center for Advanced Studies has long been a place and a program dedicated to scholarship and creative work. For thirty years, scholars in a variety of disciplines and institutions have participated in this intellectually exciting and productive research community. All active scholars -- faculty, staff, professionals, independent scholars, and emeritus professors -- are welcome to apply for an appointment. The Obermann Center provides a uniquely supportive environment where scholars working individually or in collaboration can reflect, write, and meet in easy interchange. The Obermann Center encourages scholarly interaction to explore broad frontiers of knowledge and investigate complex ideas and problems.
