I actively pursue research in two fields: immunology/health and botany. My immunology/health research focuses on how supplemental therapies, such as phytomedicines (specifically Echinacea spp. and Sanguinaria canadensis supplements) or exercise, may be used to enhance immunity. Most of this work has centered on human in vitro models. My botany research focuses on ecological interactions of poison ivy and most specifically its pollination ecology.
